My name is Lindsey, but I go by Linny. I am 21 years old and in school at Southeastern Louisiana University studying Early Childhood Education. I plan to teach 1st or 2nd grade once I graduate. I love school so much and I am such a nerd. I am a dance teacher at Soar Creative Arts Center in Hammond. I have danced since I was three years old- it is my passion!
I have throughly been blessed by so many special people in my life. I am so so close to my family that I love tons. My Mom and Dad are the best and are always encouraging me to be the best person throughout everything in life. My Nana is the most precious person in my life and I strive to be only half the person she is one day. My Mimi and Uncle Nathan help me so much by giving me advice while going through school. Lastly, my boyfriend Bennett, is the most perfect boyfriend in this world. He constantly encourages me to give it my all 24/7 in life and loves me unconditionally. These people have helped me get to where I am today and have shaped me into the person I am today. I am beyond thankful for them and their constant love and support.
Lastly, I am a child of God and only here through the power of prayer. I am answered prayers. It took my Mom ten years to have me because of pregnancy complications. My family prayed and prayed and prayed constantly because my Mom was DYING to have a child of her own. She had an older sister who was having babies like it was nothing, and then there was my Mom, not being able to just have one. She cried everyday of her life because she just didn’t understand why she couldn’t get pregnant. My family kept praying and then got all of their friends to just constantly pray everyday. Even after surgeries and tons of doctor appointments, she still waited those long ten years until she finally had me. Now throughout my life, God has blessed me with so much throughout my life and my faith has grown so much by trusting Him. He is so good. I am in awe of His grace and glory.
